Vitamin D and Muscle Power in Adolescent Girls

University of Manchester researchers have recently found that vitamin D levels are positively associated with muscle strength in adolescent girls.

While vitamin D is often thought of in its capacity as a preventative measure against bone disease, this study is an example of some of the proactive properties of the vitamin.
