(University of Texas at San Antonio) The University of Texas at San Antonio's Minority Basic Research Support Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (MBRS/RISE) program has been awarded $519,000 from the National Institutes of Health to assist underrepresented minorities to pursue careers in science.
