Teamwork cuts out unnecessary biopsies, researchers find

(Saint Louis University) New Saint Louis University research found that when nuclear medicine clinicians and treating physicians work together to interpret PET-CT scan results, the accuracy dramatically improves, sparing patients unnecessary pain and suffering.
