Risk Score May Help Guide Combined Heart and Kidney Transplants

NEW YORK (MedPage Today) -- A risk score derived from medical history and patient characteristics, combined with a measurement of kidney function, may help allocate organs for combined heart and kidney transplantation, researchers here found.
