Salmonella Outbreak Traced to Mexican Pepper Farm

The source of a three-month old salmonella outbreak initially linked to raw tomatoes has been found. Investigators discovered the Salmonella saintpaul strain in irrigation water and serrano peppers on a farm in Mexico, where jalapeno peppers are also grown.
