Geisinger study: PTSD causes early death from heart disease

(Geisinger Health System) A study by noted Geisinger PTSD researcher Joseph Boscarino sheds dramatic new light on the link between PTSD and heart disease.

In a study in the July issue of Psychosomatic Medicine, Boscarino finds that Vietnam veterans with PTSD suffered higher rates of heart disease death than veterans without PTSD.
