Congress Overrides Bush Veto of Medicare Bill

WASHINGTON -- The ink was barely dry on President Bush's veto of the bill that blocked a scheduled 10.6% cut in Medicare payments to physicians when the House of Representatives voted 383-41 to override it.

The Senate followed suit soon after, by a vote of 70-26.
