(University Hospitals Case Medical Center) Patients with gynecologic cancer have new hope in a novel technology now offered at the Seidman Cancer Center at University Hospitals Case Medical Center.

A team of cancer specialists, led by Robert DeBernardo, M.D., is among the first in the nation to launch a dedicated program using Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy to treat ovarian, endometrial and select other cancers.

Helmsley Charitable Trust to support the UofL James Graham Brown Cancer Center and cancer research taking place in Owensboro.

The grant will be matched with state "Bucks for Brains" funding to bring more than $4.5 million to the Owensboro Cancer Research Program.
