Long-Term HAART Linked to Lower Heart Risk in HIV patients

PITTSBURGH -- Effective treatment of HIV infection appears to be associated with reduced cardiovascular risk, contradicting evidence of an association between antiretroviral therapy and heart disease, investigators here reported.
