IVW: Long Odds for a Universal Flu Vaccine

CANNES, France (MedPage Today) -- A universal influenza vaccine that provides protection against multiple viruses, including those that emerge unexpectedly like the 2009 H1N1 (swine) virus, is not likely to be available in the near future, if at all, according to researchers here.
