awesome!

I saw this product on TV. Since I did not have to make holes in the wall I thought I would give it a try. When I put it up I was unsure it would be able to support my weight even though I only weigh 170lbs. so I hammered 4 finishing nails on the top trim of my door. The first time I tried it I was only able to do 3 pull ups. It has been about 3 weeks and I can do max about 10 pull ups. I do them about 3 to 5 times per day. I feel stronger and I have been told that I look a bit more shaped.

The best thing about this product is that the pain in my lower back has gone away. I don't know if it has to do with my body hanging and streching while I do the pull ups or if it has to do with my muslces getting stronger on my arms, shoulders, and upper back but I am very happy.

I just ordered another one for my brother.

super

Assembly was a breeze and took about 10 minutes. The piece that mounts to the back of the door jam is plastic so I was a little weary of whether it would hold up well or not. I did a couple slow pullups using the various positions to make sure it wouldn't fall apart on me and then did some reps and it feels pretty solid. I'm 180 lbs and it held fine, and supposedly can hold up to 300 lbs. It has grips and handles for the different various of pullups and chinups, which is what drew me to it over the other types I looked at. It can also be used for pushups, dips (although not very effective as you can't get very low), and situps using the doorway.

Overall, it does was it claims and feels like a pretty good piece of equipment. After a week of regular use it remains solid and hasn't done any damage to the door or wall. I would recommend this product for those who don't want to, or can't, mount a bar.

It is a solid piece of

It is a solid piece of equipment, and is a piece of cake to set up and take down. I do several pullups a few times each day, and can do a great ab workout with it.

When mine goes gets here ill try the set you described above, and hopefully I will be able to see the rewards in a short amount of time

Looks good...

Just as long as it works better than them wretched situps I have happy

Very useful and versatile.

One of my favorite workouts where I incorporate the Iron Gym, is a routine of:
-30 Clean and jerks
-50 Push ups using the iron gym
-15 Pull ups using the iron gym again, and
-Cool down with crunches using the iron gym
(That's set 1)

Do 3 sets for a fat-bashing explosive workout! Give it a try it

I bought the iron gym about a 3 weeks ago and I combine the new fitness program that I bought ay the same time. This fitness is recommended to anyone who has the iron gym and wants to get the most out of the workout. The program I'm on has won the #1 place in the health and fitness category on the sitescontest dot com for 2008 here:

If you know how to use the iron gym smartly with a good workout than you'll go faster in your mission.

Just my two cents:)

Is the iron gym a good

Is the iron gym a good system for building up abs? How long will it take to get a six pack?

My Iron Gym Thoughts

I bought the iron gym about a month ago and am really happy with the purchase. It is a solid piece of equipment, and is a piece of cake to set up and take down. I do several pullups a few times each day, and can do a great ab workout with it. I really love it!
