FDA Panel Considers New Cell-Based Flu Vaccine

BETHESDA, Md. (MedPage Today) -- A Food and Drug Administration (FDA) panel is considering approval of the nation's first cell-based influenza vaccine -- an alternative to vaccines produced by the traditional, time-consuming method of growing the virus in eggs.
