Diabetes cases to double and costs to triple by 2034

(University of Chicago Medical Center) In the next 25 years, the number of Americans living with diabetes will double and spending on diabetes will triple, rising from $113 billion to $336 billion.

This will add to the existing strains on an overburdened health care system.
