CDC and FDA Defend Handling of Salmonella Investigation

ATLANTA (MedPage Today) -- The CDC and FDA declared an official end today to this summer's seemingly interminable outbreak of Salmonella Saintpaul infection, but questions lingered about whether the hunt for the index microbe was slow and slipshod.
