  • These filters are great in the fountain they are designed for. My cats love the water fountain. My only complaint is you have to keep an eye on sludge that might build up from dry cat food. Somehow my cats manage to drop food in the water sometimes.

  • Without this, the water is just water. It helps to filter the water so my cat drinks more. I've tried to go without the carbon filter, but she doesn't seem to drink as much when/if I do.

  • I have one fountain and 4 cats that use it. It does a good job of keeping the water fresh and clean, especially since one likes to use it to wash his feet.

  • These filters are essential to keep fur and other debris out of the pump. If the fountain is used without filters the pump soon becomes noisy and has to be cleared.

  • Glad I was able to order this item online because the pet stores in my town nor the discount department stores carry this item. The price was good too. My cat loves the fountain so will order again.
